Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Bakersfield Lighting, Inc. (“we”) collects through this website, how we use it and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• What you send us. When you use the call-back form we receive the details you enter: your name, company, phone number, email address, the service you need and any message. If you email or call us, we receive whatever you choose to share.
• Basic technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records details such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. This is used only to keep the site running and secure.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your request, schedule and provide service, and keep records of the work we do for you. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the providers that help us run this site and our business:

• Netlify, which hosts this website and delivers call-back requests to our service desk.
• Microsoft, which provides our email.
• Google, which provides the map on our Contact page and the fonts on this site. Google may receive your IP address and may set its own cookies when the map loads.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not track you across other websites. Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal; because we do not track visitors across sites, the site works the same whether or not that signal is sent.

Other websites

Links to Facebook, Instagram, Google Maps and other sites take you to services with their own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

We keep call-back requests and related messages for as long as we need them to serve you and to keep normal business records.

Children

This site is for businesses and property owners. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Your choices

To ask what information we have about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email service@bakersfield-lighting.com or call (661) 324-0918.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
